Val

Val is a busybody, exploring every corner and every height. He came from a family of Van cats, a Turkish breed, white with black spots. Val does very nicely with other cats. In his time with Pet Rescue, this elegant cat has gone from being shy to enthusiastically claiming his share of love and attention.

Val and Destino

Born August 2022 Val (cat on left) and Destino (cat on right) are bonded siblings. Val is outgoing and leads the way while Destino likes to take his time and make sure there's no trouble ahead. They both like to play and their toy of choice is a light pointer. True to their natures, Val will charge after the light while Destino likes to try and capture it with his paw. They both enjoy petting and create a low hum with their purrs. Together they make a perfect pair.

Valentine is a gorgeous calico looking for a home. This sweet 2 year old would be happy in a home where she can spend time looking out the window or sitting in a warm cozy lap. Valentine spent three days stuck in a tree and was rescued by the fire department. All of her kittens were adopted now it's her turn.

VALENTINE Looking for a good home for two beautiful tuxedo sibling cats, only 11 months old. This is Valentine. She is currently being fostered with her sister Tilly by a senior woman who can no longer care for them. These two lovely ladies are fully vaccinated and spayed, in excellent health, very playful and just a little bit shy. They are dog friendly with small dogs. They went into foster care on February 14th and were named the Valentines Day kittens. They are all very friendly, purring, snuggly and confident. Born mid December, they are almost ready to go to their permanent homes with 2 sets of shots, microchips and lots of love to give. The kitties are listed separately on this site - DOVE, GANDOLF, PHANTOM, RIPLEY, SPENCER, WHISPER Please fill out an adoption application to get preapproved because when you meet these babies you'll want to bring them home the same day. Due to their exceedingly friendly nature these kittens must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with a pet or full time resident.

Van is a big, handsome cat - about 2 years old and very friendly. He was abandoned in an apt by his owners and the super of the building put him outside to fend for himself. He is used to living in a home and just wants someone to love him.

is a gorgeous young cat who had a litter of kittens and is ready for a home of her own. She is mostly white except for her fluffy tail and a splotch on her head. She is warm and loving and would make a wonderderful pet. She has a Ragdoll personality.

Born February 5, 2023 Vanessa was born on February 5th along with her two male littermates (Chumbawomba and Pickle). They are all funny, playful and lovable kittens. They love to chase their toys and each other all over the place and then cuddle up in a pile for a nap afterwards. They will be fully vaccinated and spayed/neutered before adoption. This adorable kitten is about 9 weeks old. She is very sweet and friendly.

DOB: May 13, 2024 Adoption Pending Meet Vanna with her beautiful grey coat. She is a well-rounded kitten who is intelligent, relaxed but engaged during playtime. She is very affectionate especially during nap time when she appreciates face scratches. She may be a little shy at first but will likely soon warm up to you. She will also place herself right next to you on the bed for cuddles.

Born April 27, 2021 Vee is a curious, but shy little kitty. Once she gets comfortable with you she is sweet & very playful. She would best be suited for a quieter home, with someone who can give her the right amount of attention. Currently she is very attached to her brother Mickey, but some TLC will bring out the best in her. She will provide great joy for her future family!

Velvet

Velvet is everything good: sweet-tempered, affectionate, friendly with other cats and beautiful - her deep black coat almost sparkles. Still smallish, she stretches her lithe little body belly-up when asking to be stroked. Velvet (aka Sonia) is about 7 months old and may grow a little. You will not find a nicer cat.

Venus

This little female kitty was one of a litter of 5. Her mom was brought in off the street just before Venus and her siblings were born. Mom cat now has a permanent home. Venus and her siblings, Little Romeo, Ruby, Rose and Cupid are extremely playful and purr machines.

Born: October 14, 2023 Vera is easily one of the most curious kittens out there. She is always eager to explore and investigate any new object that she comes across. Generally, she warms up to others easily and is very expressive. Sweet Vera is also very playful. While she enjoys independent play, she prefers interactive games with others. After she tires herself out with extensive play, she will always snuggle up next to her foster. And let me tell you - Vera is the best cuddle buddy!”

Born June 20, 2022 Verdi is a sweet and very playful little boy. He is the first to try anything and the first one to run up to you. He loves to groom humans and his favorite things are playing, eating and napping! He will literally fall asleep anywhere on any surface! Along with his siblings Cerci and Nori, Verdi does get along with the dog in the foster household.

Veronica is a charming tortie/calico mix, about 3 years old now, who was rescued from under a porch, sick and with kittens. Now in splendid health, Veronica is very playful, fun and affectionate. Spayed and up to date with all vaccinations, Veronica will be a delight in your home. She shares a foster home with other cats and dogs and gets along well with all.

Victoria is a medium haired Lynx Point Siamese who was dropped off at the Cumberland County SPCA (New Jersey) with a flea infestation. A young adult, Victoria has been treated for fleas but is still recuperating from the skin irritation it caused. Victoria is a marvelous cat who thinks she is queen of the world (she is pretty enough to be!) She is a bit of a diva and does like to have things her way. This Russian Blue mix was found by a kind cat lover and brought to Ardsley Vets for a full health check-up (her health is excellent). Victoria's Kittens

William (orange) and Isabella and Victoria (light orange) are three delightful little kittens, born March 31 in New Rochelle. Raised by their mom -- a two-year-old calico who found shelter in a family's garage (and who also needs a home) -- they will be available for adoption when they are eight weeks old (May 31). Their foster mom (Victoria) reports that they like people and are as sweet and adorable as tiny kittens can be.

Vienna is a buff colored kitten who is about 8 weeks old as of 7/15/15. Vienna was rescued from the street and has bonded with Stella. Now in a wonderful home, both kitties get along with dogs are are super sweet and playful. Vienna and Stella need to be adopted together. mn

Viola

Born July 2021 Viola is a charming petite girl. She tends to follow her human friends as they work in the Kitty Cottage and usually has something to say about it. She's not loud but her small meows and trills always get the point across. Viola is hard to ignore and loves when people pause to give her pets or a quick cuddle. When the job is done and everyone is ready to rest, she happily rests on a lap. Viola prefers to be the only pet in the household.

Born 2021 Viola is a beautiful girl that would like to be the only cat in residence. She's a queen with a big heart. She likes to jump on a lap and receive pets or snuggle in a soft spot close by. She's a very smart girl and knows how to tuck herself in! Viola doesn't need a lot of playtime but when she's ready for some fun a wand toy is her favorite. She prefers dry food to wet and knows her own mind. Viola is comfortable with people but sharing the space with other cats at the Kitty Cottage makes her anxious so she isn't following all the rules of litter box use. She never misses when she has to pee but she daintily steps outside the box to leave us presents. There aren't any health reasons for her choice and a loving home with an experienced cat owner may be the answer.

is a ten-month-old female cat. She is very sweet and a little bit shy (although she warms to people after a while). Violet is part of a litter that was rescued from the Larchmont Train Station. Her coloring resmbles that of a Russian Blue, and her coat is thick like a bunny rabbit's.
