This adorable little male yorkie is about 4 months old and around 5 lbs. He is a sweet little boy that would love to find a home of his own. Vail is an adorable pure breed male Shih Tzu around 3 years old. He is a shy boy, but will come around in the right home.He is very calm, loving and affectionate . He gets along with well other dogs. Vail seems to be housebroken. He loves to go on long walks. He is great on a leash. His tail is always wagging. He loves to follow his foster mom around the house. Valentina

Valentina is a regal sable Smooth Collie. She is active and loves to be outside, but is also gentle and chill in the house. She walks great on a leash and enjoys multiple walks a day…also trail walking and playing fetch with a tennis ball. She loves other dogs and is super friendly to them…and she also loves kids. Valentina sleeps well in her crate at night and is completely housebroken. Valentina would do great with an active person/family and would fit beautifully with kids and another dog. This sweet little girl is only about 18 lbs and around 9 months old. She is a little timid around new things and will need somebody gentle to love and pamper her. She is great with other dogs and loves people. She has lived her whole life as a stray dog and was not taken care of by anybody until she went to her foster home where she is very much loved right now till she can find the perfect home.

Vandy

Vandy is a sweet 12 week old Sheltie mix. This gentle, mellow pup is still learning that people are good but is coming around quickly. With the help of the precocious "Amber's pups" who he is living with he is coming around quickly to his foster mom and loves to climb into her lap for a cuddle whenever she sits on the floor.

Vanessa is a lovely Lab/Shepherd mix, about 7 months old and 30 lbs. She's adorable, very playful, sweet and wants to be loved. She is housetrained and sleeps through the night in her crate with some toys. You can't forget that she is still a puppy, so she still has alot of puupy habits, which she is working on. Since she is still teething she would be best in a household with children over 5. Vanessa would be a great addition to any family.

Vanna is about 5 years old and 15 lbs. She loves to follow her nose to all the interesting scents outside and then come home and snuggle up with you. Venus

Venus is the ringleader of all adventures in her foster home. This 3 year old Pomeranian gets her foster siblings playing in the yard, playing tag around the kitchen and wrestling in the dining room. She has such a good time until it is ready to take a nap and then she can curl up any where for a snooze. Venus is an absolute sweetheart and is charming all of the people who meet her. Great dog for family with older children due to her small size. This pup can be seen at our adoption day on Sunday 6/22 from 11 AM-1 PM at the Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital, 649 Boston Post Road.She will not be available prior to the adoption day. is a 1-2 year old Bichon/Poodle mix. At only 11 lbs, she's a great size to tote around town while running errands. In her foster home, she loves to find a comfortable lap and just settle in. She gets along well with other dogs, is spayed and appears house trained. Her foster home has a lot of experience and has deemed her "easy." Veto is too cute for words. He's a very sweet, easy going little guy with the most adorable little face. He's a small wire hair terrier mix about 10 lbs. of love and 1.5 years old. Veto loves to cuddle and plays well with the other dogs in the house and pays no attention to the cats. His energy level is low to medium. He rides well in the car and appears to be house and crated trained. He's neutered and UTD on his shots.

Vianca is a very sweet, easy going one year old, 34 lb lab mix. She loves a good belly rub, exploring the yard and playing with her toys. She loves people and likes nothing better than to be near you. Vianca is good on a leash and working on her house and crate training. This adorable girl can’t wait to find her furever family! Vicky is an adorable Pekingese mix, about 6 years old and 16 lbs. She is very sweet and can be a little shy. She has been living in a foster home with 2 other dogs. She would love to have another dog to play with everyday. Vicky prefers a calm environment, so no young children please. She loves to go on walks and get petted by her human. Vicky does not enjoy riding in the car. Vicky is waiting to start her new life in her forever home.

These 2 adorable pups are a bonded pair and always together in their foster home. But the clincher is that they are perfect dogs - housebroken, do not shed, walk perfectly on leash, no barking, sleep through the night, and love people. Spud started out totally shut down and is slowly blossoming. He gets all of his bravery from Vicky. Their foster mom isn't sure if he'll be okay without her. The 2 together seem easier than most single dogs. We would love to see them go out together! This is one adorable dog! The back of his ears are speckled and he has the cutest face.. his personality matches his good looks. Victor looks like a Dalmation/Border Collie mix, about 5.5 months old and around 30 lbs. An all-around good boy!

Vida is an adorable JRT mix, about 1 1/2 years old and 35 lbs. She can initially be shy but really warms up especially around other dogs. She is completely housebroken and loves going to the dog park - in fact, she would prefer to find a home with another friendly dog.

Ville is a love. She is fitting in easily in her foster home, and loves playing and tussling with her foster canine buddy, and playing with his toys. Ville is playful, kissy and always happy and welcoming. She is a friendly girl to both humans and other dogs, and loves taking walks. She is as sweet as she can be, but a little shy at first. Because sudden movements startle her, she will do best in a home without young children. So far she only wants to play with the cat, and not eat her, but no final decision made yet on life with a kitty. Ville is still a puppy and is learning. She takes direction well and can be redirected easily. She will do great in a house with a puppy with similar energy. Ville sleeps through the night in her crate and is almost 100% housebroken. We don't know how big she will be since she still has all her puppy teeth. She might end up being quite a small dog. Either way, she is a very happy and outgoing girl. Violet

Violet, is a 5 month old, 16 lb., fluffy Papillion/Collie mix with gorgeous gray markings that make her look like a little wolf. This sweetheart takes a few minutes to warm up to strangers, but certainly loves her people...rub this cuddly fluff's head and she just closes her eyes and soaks it up, snuggle her real close and she just relaxes into your body. Violet absolutely loves playing, both on her own, carrying around her ball or with her sister, Magnolia, as well as with the other dogs in her foster home who come in many sizes. When she's done, you can usually find her resting or happily chewing on her kong. This love sleeps quietly through the night and is both crate and paper trained. If you want to give a home to a sweet little angel, then Violet is just the right girl for you. Violet would not be good in an apartment.

Virginia

Virginia is such a great dog. She's fun, loyal, house trained, and she always wags her tail when she sees her people. She loves to play with other dogs. She is active and would make an excellent jogging partner. Virginia is not crated in her foster home and has not chewed a single thing or had an accident. She does need some basic training for walking and jumping. She just likes to be with her people and sometimes thinks she a lap dog. Virginia is 1-2 years old and has a beautiful red/brown wire coat (she does not shed much, but we're not going to say "non-shedding"). Because of her enthusiasm for greeting people and playing, any children in the home should be at least teens. No cats or other small animals (rabbits, etc.), please. Her foster home gives her rave reviews!!

This dainty girl is a lot of fun. She will play and play and then just fall asleep. She is great with other dogs and very well behaved. She will smother you with kisses and relax on the sofa with you. She seems to be a lab/shepherd mix and is around 35 lbs and 1 year old.
