The five siblings love to play and wrestle together and have been cautiously curious in exploring the house. They are used to coming to the call of “kitty, kitty, kitty” when getting their meals. They all use the little box well. This is a truly special group – they will add so much fun and warmth to your home! These young kittens must be adopted with each other or in a household with another kitten or young cat.

is a gorgeous long haired female, about 4 months old. She is affectionate, playful and good with other cats. Her brother Tails is available also.

Waldo

Found wandering on the streets, Waldo is a new addition to Pet Rescue and what a wonderful boy he is! He walks right up to you and rubs against your leg just asking to be petted. In his new foster home, Waldo will crawl into bed with his foster dad and purr up a storm. About 2 to 3 years old, you couldn't ask for an easier or friendlier cat.

ADOPTION PENDING This big handsome 8 year old boy is gentle and calm. He loves to lounge in a soft bed and never tires of chin rubs, ear scratches and petting from head to tail. Be ready to settle in for a while because he'll give you a nudge to keep the petting going. Unfortunately, Waldo's owner could no longer care for him and he had to leave his home. Walker & Jamison

Born April 10, 2023 Jamison and Walker are adorable litter mates. They are curious and adventurous explorers, but also total smooshy, affectionate cuddle bugs. Jamison (long haired grey tabby) is adventurous and silly. He makes his fosters laugh by getting into places he can’t find his way out of and climbing to new heights. He also loves snuggles and belly rubs. Walker (short haired grey tabby) is super playful and sweet. He loves a good wrestling match with his sibling but is also happy to spend hours snuggled in a lap for a long pet. The two enjoy all the love and attention they receive from their fosters' 4 young children. The kittens can be adopted individually but would also be very happy in a home with each other or with other cats.

Wally

is one of those natural aristocrats. With a handsome round heat and beautiful swirl of black and beige tabby markings, he is unselfconscious. He can walk into any room and make himself comfortable. If challenged, he merely observes and then goes about his business. Very affectionate, he will readily roll on his back and welcome a belly rub but doesn't try to compete with others for attention. He is a little over a year old. What a cat!

Wally

Wally is the classic tabby everyone loves! His handsome stripes are accented by the white "trim" on his face. He is a fierce hunter of his squeaky mouse toy -- you can't help but chuckle at this game! He is sure of himself and casually explores the house and its residents. Born around mid-May, Wally is good with dogs and other cats. Little Wally is sure to steal your heart!

is about 1 1/2 years old and extraordinarily handsome. He's a very friendly and dignified male. Easy to handle.

Walter is a one year old (as of 2/1/15) orange tabby. He is a total lap cat, cuddly as a teddy bear. Walter greets you with soft meows and loud purrs. He is great with other cats and would be purfect to keep you warm on cold winter days and he's GORGEOUS.

Ward

Ward is a handsome gray Russian Blue mix cat found at Ward Acres Dog Park in New Rochelle. Around 5 years old, he is extremely sweet and is calm around people and animals, including dogs. A kind hearted dog walker first noticed him (or maybe he noticed her) and brought him to the New Rochelle Humane Society (NRHS) for a complete vet check. ADOPTION PENDING This adorable young boy has personality plus. He was found wandering outside and happily went home with his rescuer. He loves attention and doesn't mind following you around to make sure he gets his fair share. He'll also settle on your lap if you have the time. Watson is also quite playful. Any toy will do but bating and chasing small balls is one of his favorite activities. You can meet this charmer at our Harrison facility.

DOB - 5/27/25 This all black kitten with one adorable white patch on his belly, is such an outgoing and energetic guy. He will be by your side wanting to play, be picked up, or snuggle with you. He's great with other cats and kids.

DOB - 5/27/25 WEBSTER Webster is an adorable and charming black kitten. While he may take a moment to size up new surroundings, he quickly becomes comfortable and affectionate. He’s exceptionally sweet and laid-back and enjoys both playing and sitting like a loaf in the middle of the action. He loves playing with people, other cats and his toys.

Wednesday: This adorable girl (8 weeks old as of 7/19/18) is very friendly and can always be found where the people & the action are. She loudly meows to inform her humans that she is hungry. She's outgoing, alert, and curious. Saturday: Quieter than his vocal sister, handsome Saturday (also 8 weeks old as of 7/19/18) is very playful and loves belly rubs. He is a laid-back, relaxed kind of guy who will be a welcome addition to any household. a lively 1 1/2 year old, was found wandering the streets. She is still a little shy but loves to be petted. We're sure she would blossom in a home and she is excellent with other cats. Wendy has a particularly beautiful brown and black striped coat and a pure white chest.

COMING SOON - Whisper is the only girl of the 6 kittens and Gandolf is her twin brother, they appear to have a fair amount of russian blue history. Whisper has very unique soft fluffy hair and her brother Gandolf has smoother fur, they are both independent and confident kittens. Whisper also has the unusual distinction of being the biggest kitten of the bunch. They are both active climbers and would enjoy a platform stand. The look with their gray green eyes is extremely exotic. Whisper needs to be adopted with one of her siblings (Gandolf, Phantom, Ripley, Dove, Spencer)or to a household with other pets. VC

White Socks

White Socks, a little over a year old, is an elegant black and white tuxedo who takes every opportunity to sit on a lap. She is lively and eager to make friends with someone who will give her attention and time. She loves to be petted but sometimes gets so stimulated by petting that she nips gently. And she likes to play-box. The family who found White Socks wandering the streets on her own took her in and wanted to adopt her but their presiding cat attacked White Socks mercilessly. White Socks does not hide from other cats but does not bond with them. Her bonding is with people.

My name is Whitman, and I am a three month old boy (as of 1/24/18). My foster mom named me after the poet Walt Whitman. I was rescued off the street when I was a tiny baby, along with my mom Shelley, and my two sisters Kahlo and Virginia, who are all available for adoption. I had an eye infection when I was found, and still a membrane clouds one of my eyes, but this does not slow me down. I LOVE to play. Any small moving thing is on notice for being pounced on! Willie is a handsome 10 month old kitten, very sweet and very playful. He was born with CH (cerebellar hypoplasia), a disorder that leads to some jerky movements and uncoordinated motion, but does not get worse with age. Born April 2018 Willow is a beautiful, gentle, affectionate cat. She was born with a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia which means she's a little wobbly when she walks. Her condition isn't progressive and in no way impacts her life as a healthy, happy cat. Willow loves spending time with her humans and is comfortable with other cats. She enjoys being brushed and will happily lounge while you're hard at work. Willow is also happy to receive pets whenever possible. The amount of love she will bring to your home simply can't be measured.

Born March 2024 Willow is a polydactyl tabby with a sweet disposition. She's young and playful but not a high energy cat. Willow loves to receive pets and spend time playing with her human friends. One of her favorite pastimes is trying to catch whatever is attached to a wand toy. These 2 girls were rescued in Queens along with their siblings Meadow and Bear (soon to be posted). Born approx May 14th, they are extremely outgoing and follow their foster mom around like puppies at her ankles. Affectionate and very silly with wiggly wiggly tails. These are adorable and bubbly, bouncy little girls and will do well in a family.

is a gorgeous, fluffy, playful 11 week-old kitten. He is one of a litter of three whose mother tested positive for feline HIV, which can be passed on to other cats but not to humans or dogs. He needs to be tested at 4 months to see if he has it. Our past experience with HIV kittens has been that follow-up tests were negative.

Adoption Pending DOB: 7-21-21 Winston is a playful and energetic kitten that loves chasing around balls and crinkled paper. He is still learning that hands and feet are not for biting and has a cute habit of making a chirping sound whenever he jumps. He always flops down and shows his tummy every time his foster returns home and loves attention and pets. This precious kitten had an inflamed right eye when rescued from the streets of Yonkers, NY that ruptured when he was brought to Pet Rescue. He has been seen by several vets for his eye, received eye medication for a number of weeks, but his right eye is not functioning. His other eye is perfect and Winston can lead a normal life.

Winston is a handsome brown tabby kitty, FIV positive, rescued by a woman a number of years ago who recently entered a long term care facility where cats are not permitted. Winter

Winter (an adorable, playful female kitten) is part of a litter of 4 kittens who were born (1/22/15) in a window well of an apartment complex in Riverdale. Our dedicated rescuer received a call from a friend who had been hearing kittens crying. She and another tenant rescued the kittens from their snowy hiding place and started bottle feeding. Winter's siblings are Chilly, Frosty and Snowdrop. Winter is especially bonded to Chilly and they need to be adopted together.

Wolfgang - Adoption Pending

Adoption Pending Approx. 13 weeks old, Wolfgang is a spirited explorer who loves to follow you around to see what you’re up to. Little in stature, but big on love and napping on your lap! Loves his 3 cat buddies at his foster home and just a pure joy to have around. Wolfgang's right eye is a bit scarred due to either an injury or most probably an eye infection. We are uncertain how much vision he has in the right eye but he moves around as if he had two good eyes. His eye is being evaluated by an eye specialist.

Wolfie is a young grey and white male who has had a rough time in his young life. This warm and friendly cat was shot in the face and had to be hospitalized for a week. Now recovered, in good health, neutered and up to date with all shots, Wolfie is ready for a permanent loving home. This heroic cat loves to be tickled and is fun to be around.

Wolfie, a grey and white male, has had a rough start in his young life, but he has come through with flying colors. This wonderful feline was shot in the face and hospitalized for a week. Now all better and in good health (neutered, up to date with vaccinations), Wolfie is resting comfortably in a foster home environment. This heroic cat, with a friendly and sweet personality, loves to be tickled and is fun to be around. He deserves a loving permanent home.

Wyatt

Born July 2023 Wyatt is a classic tabby through and through. He's outgoing and adventurous and enjoys interacting with his human companions for playtime and pets. He loves small, soft balls that can be carried and batted. Wyatt shows his affection with chatty meows and nudges. He was recently diagnosed with asthma but that doesn't slow this boy down. One daily dose of his inhaler and he's good to go. Wyatt is energetic and comfortable with a household full of people and other feline friends. No dogs please."

Wynette

DOB - 5/27/25 WYNETTE Wynette (sibling of Winks, posted separately) is a sweet tabby and white kitten who always wants to be part of the action. She is sweet, friendly, and comes running when she hears her people. She loves to be with both her human and cat friends and is always purring. She’s gentle and affectionate but also is always happy to play. She will bring enormous joy to whoever is lucky enough to adopt her.

Wynonna

Born August 2024 Wynonna was pregnant when she was rescued in Mt. Vernon. She gave birth to 7 healthy kittens and was a wonderful mom. When the time was right, Wynonna moved to the Kitty Cottage and her fur babies moved to loving foster homes. Wynonna has a sweet, playful personality. She's a quiet girl and loves to snuggle in big soft cat beds when playtime is over. Wynonna gets along well with other cats and enjoys attention and pets.
